I chose a dark, moody background shot of a discarded plastic bottle to highlight the stark reality of plastic waste. By placing the statistic front and center—“5,000,000 plastic bottles are thrown away every hour”—I wanted to make sure viewers immediately grasp the scale of the problem. The muted color palette and bold typography keep the design simple yet impactful.
